Vitamin C Palmitate/Ascorbyl Palmitate is a fat-soluble form of ascorbic acid, or vitamin C. Unlike ascorbic acid, which is water-soluble, ascorbyl palmitate is not water-soluable. Consequently ascorbyl palminate can be stored in cell membranes until it is required by the body. Many people think vitamin C (ascorbyl palminate) is only used for immune support, but it has many other important functions. A major role of vitamin C is in manufacturing collagen, a protein that forms the basis of connective tissue - the most abundant tissue in the body. Ascorbyl palmitate is an effective free radical-scavenging antioxidant which promotes skin health and vitality.

3. Ascorbyl Palmitate /Vitamin C Palmitate Powder

Ascorbyl Palmitate /Vitamin C Palmitate Property :
White to yellowish powder, odorless, oil soluble and nonacid. Insoluble in water, fusible in ethanol. Ascorbyl Palmitate is the oil soluble form of Vitamin C also known as Vitamin C Ester, it is much more stable than the water soluble form of vitamin C. The anti-oxidant activity of Ascorbyl Palmitate is powerful.

4. Product feature:
Ascorbyl palmitate is used as a high efficient antioxidant and oxygen radical scavenger because its has all the biological activities of Vitamin C and recoganized by Food Additives Committee of WHO as nutritious, efficient and safe food additive. Ascorbyl palmitate is the only antioxidant used in baby food in China. Ascorbyl palmitate is used in food to resist oxidation, retain food (oil), enhance Vitamin C, etc.

Ascorbyl palmitate

Food additive: antioxidant; colour retention agent to protect oxidizable natural pigment (such as Capsorubin, Lycopene, Carotene, lutein, etc.); liposoluble antioxidant in animal and vegetable fat and foods to stabilize soybean oil, cottonseed oil, palm oil, unsaturated fat and hydrogenated vegetable oil; antioxidant in baby milk products to prevent baby milk product oxidation, in fried products (such as instant noodles, potato chip, fried fish, fried meat products, etc.) to prevent lipid oxidation, prolong its shelf life, etc.
Chemical daily product: liposoluble whitening and freckle removing product.
